You can't heal if you keep pretending you're not hurt. It can be easy to just want to ignore our hurt and pain and push it way. While that may work temporarily, our hurt will always come back up in some way. Each avoidant and distracting behavior just delays our healing.
Give yourself space to understand what has hurt you. You deserve to give yourself a chance to heal.
