You can’t control how anyone treats you but here are some things you can do:
•remind them of those boundaries
•identify behaviors and comments you aren’t okay with
•remove yourself from unhealthy relationships
If we don't set boundaries or tell people how we want to be treated, they will treat you however you allow yourself to be treated. Say that slowly, one more time.
Boundaries matter. Your needs matter. Identifying your best interests matter. Others will not always respect your boundaries or needs and setting them is still necessary.
