Part of my goal as a therapist is giving individuals language to understand what is going on with their mental health in a way that feels supportive, easy to understand, and non-stigmatizing.

Diagnosis can be validating and a helpful tool for healing when it is shared in a way that feels like you are learning more about yourself vs. feeling shamed.
